Our History

Harvest Assembly was started as a ministry for those who have been hurt or overlooked by local churches, as well as to unite with other churches around the world as Christ prayed.

Some of us came out of churches full of legalism while other came from churches that failed to preach repentance and that God was only love and nothing more.

----Below is the time line of Harvest Assembly----

The first of Harvest Assembly was held at the Lagrange Ramada Inn conference room in August of 2005 by Anthony Mathis and Robert Evans.

On the 27th of August 2005, heiswaiting.org was launched as a world wide outreach.

In September of 2005 services were moved to the home of Anthony and Maria Mathis.

In October of 2005 services were moved to the Storage XXtra conference room.

In mid-November of 2005 services were moved to the new residence of Anthony and Maria Mathis in LaGrange, GA.

Harvest Assembly began a new "outreach" program in February of 2006. (DVD Creation Evangelism) - As of January 14, 2007, nearly 700 DVD requests have been made via the internet website. 400+ DVD orders have reached the US, as well as international homes and churches.

On October 7, 2006 Gene Wilkinson was elected as the first official pastor of Harvest Assembly.

Tuesday, October 24th of 2006 Harvest Assembly convened at its new location: 2170 West Point Road, Suite 27, LaGrange, Georgia.
